Senate Majority Leader Reid said that the war in Iraq has been "lost". How can a man that has never been to Iraq say the war is lost? Did Reid kick in doors and get blown up byIEDs ? Did he help build schools and facilities so Iraqis could have a better life? How can a man with no military experience, ill founded knowledge, and who sits on capitol hill say anything about the war in Iraq?
Some people say his statements are because of the budget for forces in Iraq and Afghanistan and Sen. Reid thinks that America shouldn't fund the war anymore. Well if the senate would quit giving themselves pay raises all the time we would have more money in the budget. Quit putting American dollars into your, and other countries, pockets so the military can do their job. On that same note keep the politicians out of themilitary's business. Don't tell us how to win a war and we won't tell you how to construct a new bill. You know the legislative process, we know how to clear the
battlefield of the enemy.
I think I just took a leap backwards in my anger management. That pisses me off as much as John Kerry callin all the troops in Iraq dumb asses, which is another story for another day.

Viking, you are doing really well. Rage only destroys us when we hold it in. This is a really constructive outlet and you'll find you are not alone.
I took my anger one step further and wrote a private letter to the SOB. I think you should print out your post and mail it to him. And let him know that if he wants to know how unpopular he's becoming to simply google his name and "lost war" and he can see the reactions of the blogosphere to his statement. By the time he receives your letter there will be thousands upon thousands of negative responses. That will teach him not to be stuck on stupid and to think before he talks.

Hey...they have the Iraqi version of American Idol. I find that a miracle, personally. To think that in Iraq, there are people that are able to focus on such inanities. Hmmmm....they weren't doing that before, were they? I wonder just why they are able to do that now? (rhetorical question)

i can't figure it out either, but I think it would help if they would at least examine the roots of their favorite freedoms. a lot of great men died to provide them their stupidity. sheesh, now i'm kind of depressed.
